That might be slippery enough after a coat and a little sanding. I'd use Johnson wood wax.Plain 2X4's with no finish won't work, they want it stained dark. I want it to slide easily and thought maybe waxing and polishing the boards. ![]() It's going to a high temp, high humidity climate. I've been told not to polyurethane it but it will need some finish beyond stain. It will be made of 2X4's planed, edges rounded, finely sanded and stained.
